After taking down this blog for awhile I decided it was time to start it back up after much interest has been expressed to me about the breed. Let me begin by saying that I wasn't too familiar with the "designer" breed until two years ago when I adopted Tucker a 10 week old boxador from a rescue shelter in Twin Falls, ID.

From the moment I saw his picture I knew he was the dog for me. I never could have imagined how quickly I would fall in love with him when I went to pick him up!
Tucker spent most of the ride home trying to fit into the cup holder :o)
Without knowing much about the Boxador breed I did some research and found it really is the perfect mix of two wonderful breeds. The Labrador in Tucker was evident by his large paws, medium length some hair, love of playing fetch and retrieving toys. The Boxer was evident from day one with his fawn coloring, white stomach, dark masking on the face, how he batted with toys with his front paws and slender hind end.
